Bali Mods Mayday is an annual event held to commemorate International Labor Day, as history explains that Mods are a subculture of the working class.
Aiming to commemorate and honor, the Mods always organize an activity called Mods Mayday. Now the Mods Subculture has become very global, even in Bali you can find young people who adopt the Mods culture.
One of them is a community called MAVE WEEKENDER. On this occasion, MAVE Indonesia participated by holding the Mods May Day event as a form of appreciation for the working class in Bali in particular, with Bali Mods Mayday, and being part of the world in commemorating Labor Day through music & scooters.
This year, Jimbaran Hub had the opportunity to host the finish point of Bali Mods May Day 2024 and succeeded in creating an authentic Balinese atmosphere with hundreds of participants who were involved with enthusiasm and togetherness.
Visitors can experience the sensation of green scenery that is still pristine and looks very sustainable, combined with typical Balinese elements at Jimbaran Hub.
One of the visitors said, “ Overall, I was amazed when I arrived here (Jimbaran Hub), this is like the original Bali, when I entered there was still a touch of nature, it seems like there is a sustainability trend being applied here, especially there is still a very visible Balinese identity which is unique in itself, there is no trash, it is really cool.”
This makes this year’s Bali Mods May Day more memorable and feels very original. This event was also enlivened by various musical performers, including The Jansen, NoinBullet, Ras Muhammad, Gold Voice, and many more.
The presence of these musicians adds to the vibrancy and excitement of the event, making it an unforgettable celebration.
Jimbaran Hub strongly supports community activities that aim to strengthen relationships through creativity that arises from enjoying hobbies or collections pursued by the community.
Agung Prianta as the Founder of Jimbaran Hub said, “We are happy to be part of this event and see the extraordinary enthusiasm from the Bali Scooter community.
Jimbaran Hub is committed to continuing to support positive activities like this that not only strengthen relationships between communities, but also celebrate the beauty and sustainability of Bali’s environment and culture.”
